In anticipation of the upcoming Family Love Festival, we’re inviting you to embark on a journey. Not just any journey, but a historical expedition that traces the steps of our remarkable ancestors, Willie and Leola Hooper. This is a rare opportunity to personally connect with our family’s roots and appreciate the story of resilience, determination, and enduring love that has shaped us.

The guided Hooper Trail tour will take place on Wednesday, July 12th, and Thursday, July 13th. Each tour will start at 1:00 pm and will span approximately 4 hours, filled with rich history and insights about our forebears and their legacy. We have a lead vehicle available, but should it fill up, you are welcome to follow along in your own car.

This isn’t just a walk down memory lane – it’s a voyage through time. It’s the chance to follow the path Willie and Leola once tread, to see the world through their eyes, and to draw strength and inspiration from their journey. The Hooper Trail isn’t just a story of our past, it’s a testament to the family spirit that binds us, showing us where we’ve come from and pointing us towards where we’re going.

For those who prefer to take the tour at their own pace, or at a different time, a downloadable map will be provided so you can follow the trail independently.
